Dorwell is a purpose built, family run cattery. Situated on the edge of Dartmoor National Park we are easily accessible, being only 200 yards from the main A38 at Wrangaton.
Licenced, insured and vet recommended, we offer a wide choice of accommodation and a high level of care. We can facilitate special diets and medication when provided.
All cats will automatically be covered by pet insurance upon their arrival and for the duration of their stay. However, this will not cover any existing medical conditions your cat may have on arrival.
All cats must have an up to date vaccination certificate (flu and enteritis) and this must be shown on or prior to arrival. We reserve the right to call your veterinary surgeon on your behalf should we feel it necessary for the welfare of your cat.
Unfortunately male cats over age of 8 months that have not been neutered cannot be boarded.

For 3 or 4 Cats, 2 Deluxe side by side units are available to turn into a ‘Family Pen’

Collections by 10am do not pay for the day of check out.
We have a minimum stay policy of 5 days over the Christmas period, with no drop offs or collections on the 24th, 25th and 26th December.
For stays over 31 days we offer a £5 discount per entire week of stay, per cat.
For stays over 31 days we need to gain additional insurance, with a charge of £12.00 per cat (which lasts another 31 days).
A collection and delivery service is available , please just ask when booking.
Additional in-bed heaters are available upon request
for an additional £2 a day.
NB: Unit booked is NOT guaranteed – we will move bookings around to suit the needs of the business, whilst considering individual cat’s needs and nature.
Cancellation Policy:
• More than 14 days notice – full refund less booking fee
• 7-14 days notice – 50% to pay, inc booking fee
• Less than 7 days notice – 100% to pay, inc booking fee
• No refund for early return unless appropriate notice given
Changes Policy:
• Minor changes (a day or two added or deducted) free
• Major changes will be treated as cancellation and re-booking and the booking fee and cancellation charges will apply.
